Spring Training 2012

Watching the pitchers warm up

Dad and Ruth
Oh my gosh was it hot!!!

Micah

Zack mad that I wanted to take a picture of him with his hat sideways. It looked so cute!

Andrew pouting about not getting a soda. He's cute even when he pouts.

Ethan
Not sure what Zack is staring at...

The ball was hit to our area a couple of times and we were almost trampled by the drunk guys trying to get to it. They landed right on my camera at one point, so I'm glad it wasn't broken.

I got it! :)

Peter Piper Pizza field trip

Sara, Zack and Alex at Peter Piper Pizza.
Mrs. Marlene planned this cool field trip to see how they make the pizzas at Peter Piper Pizza. It was so interesting and the kids were fascinated by the big freezer, I was fascinated by the thing that rolls out the dough! It was really fun.

Who likes pizza??

This is the machine that rolls out the dough. It was so cool!

lots of pepperoni, right Zack? (That is all he eats on the pizza)

Pinewood Derby

I had a chance to redeem myself with the pinewood derby. Andrew got to do 2 of them this year. Last time I totally forgot my camera. Uncle Jason and Ashley came to watch Andrew race. I can't believe next year we are going to have TWO cars in the race!

After he won his first race

Zack and Ethan had to be in the thick of it all. This is them waiting for the cars to come racing down the track

Most Patriotic was his award.

Can't wait until next year! Maybe then we can get the car done ahead of time, and not the day it was due! :)

Train Park

Over spring break we went to the McCormick train park. The boys love this place. They have added a building that is all model trains. It was really cool to watch all these little trains going around. I can understand why people can get really obsessed with trains.

Waiting to ride the train

Crazy boys wanted to be in the car that was all locked up. It got so crowded with kids that it had to have been hot in there. But they loved it.

Eating ice cream

Zack prefers it all over his face. :)

I love that I get to stay home with my boys. The sacrifice financially has been totally worth it. I love watching them grow and learn and become such sweet kids.

Fast trip to Cali

A few weeks ago, Tucker was being ordained to an Elder. Can I tell you how awesome it was to be able to hop in the car and drive to California without feeling like I was going to die being in the car forever? Dad and Ruth rode with us, which was awesome. We never get enough time with them! We dropped in on Aunt Jan, it was her birthday, and it was really good to see her.

Seriously? How can one person be so cute?

Mema playing with the boys making an Ethan sandwich.

Their turtle was in hibernation, right there in the living room.

While in Cali we got to see everyone but Walker :( and we ate really yummy but really cheap sushi. I never know what to order, so I let Steve order for me. I liked everything but the monkey brains. It wasn't really called that, but it kinda looked like brains and it tasted nasty. Lol. They laughed at me a lot saying that.
I can't believe that Tucker is getting ready to turn in his mission papers. That just seems impossible that he is old enough to do that. But I'm so proud of him for making that decision!

All because two people fell in love
