Update coming soon!

Good Morning! I came on the computer early today so that I could do an update and realized that I haven't downloaded any pictures from October or November yet so I can't! Jeff has the camera, so I am out of luck until he gets home from work.
In the past 2 months, Ethan has turned 5, we had a fun Halloween, and we are looking forward to Thanksgiving in Arizona.
I am also looking forward to New Moon this Friday. I am trying really hard to not get TOO excited for this movie, even though it looks TEN times better than Twilight! I guess if I get to watch Jacob for a couple hours it can't be all bad! LOL! Anyway, I have a couple friends who are looking forward to my review, so I will post that on Friday or Saturday.
And by the way, if you want to come with us, we are going to the 7:30 show on Friday in Temecula.
Be back soon to post pictures!

Shoe Fettish!

Zack is a shoe stealer. If you are missing your shoes and Zack is around, he probably has them. He really loves high heels. I don't know why. Here he is in Stephanie's shoes. It was hilarious.

First day of school

Andrew started 1st grade this year. He loves it! I am hoping that the reason his homework is stuff we did in Kindergarten is just because they are doing a review. Otherwise he is going to be so bored!

This is what I want my house to look like...

Cake time!

He did not like getting sung to at all! He was covering his face and starting to cry. It was funny because this kid always wants attention, and then when he gets it he doesn't like it.

He's 2! He's 2!

Zachary is 2 now. He has grown so much lately, that I can't really call him Baby Zack anymore! I still do, but I really should stop. His favorite things are mommy, balls, trains, Bolt we watch this a LOT!, jumping off of everything, riding scooters and playing with his brothers. He is a crack up and does stuff just to get attention. He is by far my most stubborn child. He has a will of iron. But we love him sooo much!

TEN years!

On August 7th Jeff and I celebrated our 10th anniversary. I can't even believe it has been that long. Part of me feels like we have always been married, and then the other part of me feels like it happened just yesterday. Once you have kids, time goes crazy fast!

Nothing like a poke in the eye!

See this cheerio? Zack has a handy knack of sticking anything and everything in all cracks, holes and eyeballs on his body. I have taken a couple erasers and popcorn kernals out of his nose and ears and now I had to take a full on cheerio out of his eye! It was the creepiest thing I have ever seen! He just randomly started screaming bloody murder right next to me and I look over and all you see is cheerio, no color in his eye at all just cheerio. Andrew had to hold his arms while I dug it out. It was very sad. Poor Zack! (July 2009)

Family night

We have not been really good in the past about having FHE. I can't believe I am actually admitting it! However we are trying (& succeeding) in changing that. This was the first night we planned the whole thing and Andrew was in charge of the dessert. He was so excited! We made the cake in my pampered chef rice cooker in 9 minutes! It is not the prettiest cake by any means. In fact it looks like we majorly messed up on it! But it is the best tasting cake ever! Yummy! (July 2009)

My baby is braver than me!

This summer we spent a lot of time at the beach with my family. My nephews showed Andrew how to boogie board and he was starting to get really good at it! He had so much fun out there in the ocean. I do not like the ocean at all. well going in it at least. But I am glad that the fear has not been passed down to my boys. Although a little fear wouldn't hurt them every once in awhile! But that is how boys are I have learned.

Stinker!

Zack is my mischievous little child! You have to watch him constantly. When he gives you that cute little cheesy grin, watch out!
The poor guy sitting in the chair at the beach kept having his nice volleyball stolen by Zack. If there is a ball in sight, Zack must have it or he is throwing a tantrum. Luckily this guy let him play with it. We may have had to cut the day short otherwise. It is seriously that bad! Zack is also a very sweet kid! There are two sides to him. (July 2009)

Sweet dreams

I put Ethan to bed in my bed one afternoon, and I came in to check on him and this is what I found. It was so cute! I think he was trying to block out the light. (July 2009)

Catch up- again! Starting with Jake

The weekend of 4th of July we thought it would be great to get the kids a pet that we had promised them. So we adopted Jake. He is one of the sweetest cats ever! However my children are not, and poor sweet Jake had to go back to Petsmart. I was so sad! He was very loving and huge! His paws were massive, I have never had a cat that big before. I hope whoever has him now, is loving him so much!

Reading

I have always loved to read. When I was growing up, my mom would buy me a book but then she would make me wait to read it until I got home, or it was finished by the evening. She would get so frustrated with me because I finished all my books so quickly. When I was handed Twilight in 2007 I kind of got stuck. I couldn't move away from it. The story became my escape to another world, because mine was too difficult. Now that the movie has snapped me out of it, and the crazed obsession by the book with the general public, I have moved on. I have read 2 really great books over the past 2 weeks, and I was reminded of why I love to read. I just now finished the Time Travelers Wife. I cried! I also read it in 3 days. It is a really good book. There is a lot of language in it and usually that keeps me from finishing, but I finished! I highly recommend it. I have no idea how they will make a movie out of this, but I am interested to find out.
Anyway, kind of random thoughts for today. I have a whole bookshelf of books waiting to be read! I am excited!

Family Fun in San Clemente

Dad's Wedding-Lots of pictures

On July 11th my Dad married Ruth. She is a wonderful lady and we are so glad she is part of our family now. We got to meet 2 of her children and it was a lot of fun to get to know them. Her daughter Katie and her husband Brian made and decorated the cake. IT was both beautiful and delicious! I am still craving it now! Which reminds me of when I got married, the only piece of cake I got was the one Jeff put in my mouth and I thought about that cake the entire honeymoon! The top of our cake did not make it much past the second week of marriage! HA! Anyway almost the whole family was there, we were missing Walker (scout camp), Tanner (off on his quest to be a famous guitarist!) and Dillon (Mission). So it was sooo much fun to see everyone and hang out. Even if it felt like being in an oven out there in Arizona. I was reminded of how cool it actually is in California and I will try to never ever complain again. :)

4th of July

So we had some family and friends come over for 4th of July and it was a lot of fun! The kids played almost the whole time in the pool, Bryan cooked some awesome chicken and we ate til we couldn't eat anymore. It was a great time. Ethan was still scared of the fireworks. It was nice we could see them from our apartment complex. So we didn't have to battle the craziness of the park. It was a very nice day. Thank you to all who brought food and helped out!

Sea World

Jeff and I went to one of those Time Share presentations and got Sea World tickets! So we took the boys on Friday and it was a lot of fun. It was only hot in the stadiums where the wind couldn't blow. During the Dolphin show Andrew wanted to get splashed, so they went down (notice I didn't go) and man they got SOAKED! In the first 5 minutes of the show the pilot whale just nailed them like 5 times! Ethan didn't think it was very much fun.But he was stuck down there because he didn't know how to get back to me. Zack was so tired at this point it was beginning to not be fun anymore. But luckily he fell asleep and took a good long nap. The kids other favorite show is the Pet show. They love watching all the dogs and cats. Jeff took Andrew on the Atlantis, if you look close you can tell it is them coming down the ride. Then there were baby killer whales. At least that is what they looked like. There was not a sign saying what they were. It was really a fun family day.

Steph and Tanner's Graduations

I can't believe that Stephanie and Tanner have now graduated from High School. Its the real world for them now! :)

Girl's Night

The girls and I went out to dinner at Chili's just before I moved. We had a lot of fun. Everyone there really needed the break from kids and we got to eat yummy food all at the same time! Thank you girls for coming! And we missed those who couldn't make it.

Cute!

Dillon's Farewell

My nephew Dillon left for his mission June 10th. He is going to the Philipines Naga Mission. He is an amazing person and we are going to miss him so much!

11 year reunion

For all you graduates of 1998 from Centennial, you missed out! HA! There were only like 50 people at our reunion and it was 98 & 99's combined! I knew it was a possibility that hardly anyone would show up, but I was hoping! Anyway, we had fun with those that did show. I don't know what order the pictures are going to come up in, but in one picture it is Alex Teeter and his fiance. In another picture it is Jana (Duffy) and her husband and Cheryl Ng. In front of the house is Jeff and I and Ruben and Janelle Garcia. Eric Snyder showed up at the very end as we were walking out. I hope that more people show up to our next reunion! (hint hint!) It could have been really fun if more people showed up.

Weird-o's

My boys are strange. I was working on the computer and they come running in with fruit snacks stuck to their belly buttons. I don't know why, but they thought it was hilarious and wanted me to take a picture. So of course, I did.

Bubble-time!

My boys love bubble baths. They beg for one ALL the time. I finally broke down and bought cheap bubble bath and they had a lot of fun. I avoid bubble baths because usually the ENTIRE bathroom ends up getting washed, not just the kids. I don't feel like cleaning that up day after day. Anyway, its a special treat. :) I have no idea what Andrew had been eating to make that red mouth. It looks really funny though.

Randomness

Kindergarten Graduation

Andrew graduated from Kindergarten the end of May. He was so cute! My camera died of course so I only have a couple pictures. But he got an award in every area possible. I did this on purpose because he likes getting awards and I hardly got any so I was living vicariously. His teacher named him Super Scientist. Which sounds about right, he likes to experiment for sure! I am so proud of him and I can't believe he will be gone all day next year! (Honestly, my feelings go both ways. I will miss him, but I am SO glad he will be occupied ALL day!)

Miguel's with the Girls

Melonie ordered nachos, not knowing it would be a MOUNTAIN of them! It was funny to see her face when they brought them out.

Explanation of the picture of Shelly: I was driving her around places we all used to live and we drove to the Jackson's house because she practically lived there as a kid. So we thought, if the lights are on we will knock on the door. Luckily no lights were on, it was 11 at night, because they DON'T even live there anymore! I am so glad we weren't caught!

Memorial Day-2009

Memorial Day was crazy this year. We were going non-stop all day! I think that is fun though. The first thing we did was get a bunch of friends together and met at the park for desserts and playing. Zack loved the blue sugar cookies Gina brought. :) The Kirk's came, the Hutchings, Dad and the kids, Wendy & Gabe and Bryan and Gina. It was a good turnout with lots of yummy things to eat. We then had a bbq at Jeff's Moms house and then after that I went out with Melonie and Shelly and Michele to dinner at Miguels. The last time I saw Shelly was when I was like 2 months pregnant with Andrew. So a lot had changed! It was a lot of fun.

Just another day at the beach....

Stephanie came over one day to hang out and we decided to take the kids to the beach. It was a beautiful day to go, not too hot. At first Zack was ideal, he just wanted to sit in the sand and play. It was great. Then he decided he liked the water and he didn't move away from it. So goes the relaxing day of lying on the beach reading magazines while the kids play. But it was so cool! A little while after we got there a bunch of dolphin started to swim by and they came pretty close too. I have never seen dolphin outside of Sea World, so I was really excited. I hope we spend a lot more days at the beach, preferably with Jeff. Then he can play with the boys in the water, Mommy doesn't play in the ocean. :)

Mother's Day Tea

At Andrew's school they have a Mother's Day tea for all the moms. It was so sweet! They sang us songs that made us cry, escorted us to our seats, brought us our food and drinks. It was so sweet. I am so glad I was able to go.

Zack's accident

I was taking a shower one day, and I was getting dressed when I heard this huge crash! Then Zack is screaming! I rush out there and apparently he had climbed on top of the piano bench-which Ethan had left out-and was in the process of climbing on top of the piano when the bench slipped and he scraped his head on it. Well it wouldn't be complete without the fact that I was getting ready to take him to a doctors appointment! So he has this huge goose egg on his head with pieces of hair coming off his head from where it got hit. The doctor looks at me and says, "looks like you need to watch him better!" It was wonderful. I felt like a loser!

Arizona-April 2009

Jason got Jeff a free ticket to the NASCAR race in Phoenix. So we all went out to visit. On Saturday the kids and I got together with some friends at the park in Maricopa. I didn't get a picture of Becca, but I got one of Gailine! We had a good time playing. The kids had a blast. Then we drove into town to drop the kids off with Ashley who was going to watch them for me so we could have a girls night out. That part didn't work out so well. There was a HUGE accident on the one road getting to Maricopa so we had to stay in town for awhile longer. But then we finally got back to Gailine's and Kim came over. It was fun to get in touch with her.

Andrew's 2nd tooth

So like 3 or 4 days after he lost his first tooth, he lost his 2nd tooth. He was really excited. He is so different from how I was because I was terrified for my tooth to come out and here he was begging for Jeff to take it out!

Easter Afternoon 2009

Okay I had sooo much fun getting the girls ready for church on Easter Sunday. I got to play with hair and put on fluffy dresses! Oh my it made me want a little girl of my own so badly! Then they started fighting the only way girls can fight and I was grateful I only have boys. HA! But it is fun to 'borrow' them every once in a while. The boys looked very handsome too thanks to Jeff. Andrew is such a poser, he didn't want to sit up and take a picture, he wanted to lay, Cleopatra style, instead. Who says boys aren't drama?

Easter Morning

So Katie's kids are really sensitive to sugar, so I got them like 2 candies each, and they were a little bummed about that, but I was NOT going to have to deal with 5 kids at church all on a sugar high! I think they had fun, and I hope they weren't too disappointed.

Coloring Easter eggs

This year for Easter we had Hannah, Madison and Micah with us to celebrate. The night before Easter we colored real eggs. I remembered why we like to do plastic eggs with candy inside instead. But the kids did have fun coloring them, even if they were disappointed that they didn't magically appear with candy inside the next day. It was a lot of fun. What was really funny is that I didn't realize that I should have made enough for JEFF to color some of his own too! He was kind of bummed out that they were all called for! HAHA!

The After party

After we played long and hard at the petting zoo, we went back to Val's house to eat and hang out. The kids got a hold of my camera and these are some of the silly/cute pictures they took.

San Juan Petting Zoo

Also in April, we went to this fun little petting zoo in San Juan Capistrano. The kids loved it! They got to feed guinea pigs and rabbits, and they even got to ride a horse! Well Ethan chose to ride the train, big surprise there. He is going to be an engineer when he grows up I am sure. Zack, who does not like vegetables, was trying to show the guinea pigs how to eat a carrot. Which would have been fine if the guinea pig hadn't already eaten off part of it! GROSS! Zack could not be stopped though. I shudder thinking about it now. The Llama in one of the pictures, had the craziest eye color. I don't know if you can see it, but it was weird!

Andrew's 1st Tooth

So, waaaay back in April, Andrew lost his first tooth. He was so excited, and I was kind of freaking out! My baby is big enough to lose his teeth! I was not prepared for the freak out that happened. I hid it well, though, so Andrew didn't know. He was broken hearted when he woke up the next day and didn't find anything under his pillow. I knew I put something there so I was a little worried, but it had just fallen behind the bed. He sleeps on the top bunk, so it was bound to happen. He was very happy with his $$.

Texas baby!

Rosane and I went to visit my brother Mark and his family in Texas. We had a wonderful time! They are wonderful hosts and my nephews are some of the sweetest ever! They are growing up to be such gentlemen. Whenever we see them they have this ability to make you feel so special and like you are #1! We don't see them a whole lot, and so it is nice because they actually want to hang out with you. We had a great time. and the dogs are the best dogs ever! They gave Rosane and I a workout trying to walk them though!
We were in Michaels on the last day and we found these funny hats and we got everyone to try them on and take a picture. It was funny!

Want to buy a wedding dress?

If any of you know someone who needs a wedding dress or would like to buy one for cheap, give them my number. Its probably a size 4, maybe smaller. It is in good condition and it is temple ready too. :)

Irvine Railroad Park

My visiting teacher told me about this park out in Irvine that has a train and a zoo, and so we went. IT was fun! Cute little place. They were having an Easter thing going on too. We rode the train, and fed the ducks and walked around their little zoo. The animals all kind of looked sick though. The bald eagle was lying on the ground, the mountain lion was just laying there looking like it was going to throw up. We felt kind of bad for them! Then there were these peacocks that wouldn't shut up! LOL! IT was a nice family day.

Ahhh my little couch potatoes!

PARTY TIME!!!

So I was crazy mom this year. We do friend parties every other year, and so this year was Andrew's turn to have one. Well you can't just invite church friends, and you can't just invite some of the school friends, so we invited everyone. And as always, around Andrew's birthday it is rainy. So the forecast was that it was going to rain that day and I had no idea what I was going to do with 30 kids in my little house. That was just kids! Not including parents who I wanted to stay because I didn't want to be responsible for those 30 kids by myself! :) A miracle happened though and the rain stayed away and it was beautiful! We had a lot of kids, and a lot of fun! I also had a LOT of cake left over! Luckily the next day was my Dad's birthday and we just used the leftover cake for his birthday party! :) We just scraped off Andrew's name. How cheesy is that? Oh well, it works!

My "baby" turned 6!!!

On February 10th Andrew turned 6 years old. I can't believe it! He has grown up so much this past year with being in school and all. He is a big help to me, and he loves his brothers too. These are pictures of Uncle Jason and Ashleys gift to him. He was so excited! We had saved our gifts for his party, so it was the first present he got to open. He loves presents!

February Randomness

Short Hair!

In February, while Jeff was gone, I finally chopped off my hair! I was so tired of it and wanted a change. Jeff likes long hair and wasn't thrilled, but I have had long hair for him for years now! So I did it! I patterned it after Katie Holmes hair, which I have loved since she first did it. It was fun to make such a drastic change!

Christmas Morning!

Disclaimer! I don't know why there are not any pictures of Zack on Christmas morning! Poor kid is going to think we didn't love him! But we did get him Christmas presents I Promise!
Andrew has been wanting a baskteball hoop for awhile, and while I was working at Toy's R Us it went on sale and then with my discount, I couldn't pass it up! They had a really great Christmas this year. So many presents! We usually try to keep it to 2 presents each because we don't want them to think that is what Christmas is all about. This year was a little different though. Santa Claus was very generous. :) Next year it will be back to just 2 presents though. They got really greedy after a while. I hope you all had great Christmases!

Snow Day!

The kids had never been to the snow, so we decided to take them this year. Jeff had a few days off and we didn't want to just sit around. So we are driving up there and stop at a McDonalds for breakfast. They had a perfect area just outside to play in the snow, so that's what we did! Who needs a big field to play in? We didn't come very prepared though. Andrew was the only one with gloves and our hands froze really fast. So we didn't stay long but we had a good time, and they talked about it for days!

Mission Inn Christmas lights

This year we finally took the kids to go and see the Christmas lights at the Mission Inn, in Riverside. We went with our friends Bryan and Gina. It was cold and so much fun. The lights are beautiful! The kids really enjoyed it too. They have an ice skating rink right in the middle of it all and the kids all wanted to do it, but Andrew is really the only one big enough, and then what do we do with Zack and Ethan? so not this year. Maybe next year.....

Christmas with Aunt Ashley

Okay make that 4 Christmases! I don't have pictures from all of them though. But Jason's girlfriend Ashley is so good with my boys, she made them these really cool boxes to hold special things and she made different pictures on the lids with pieces of magazines! It was so cool, and they of course were filled with books, candy and fun British crackers. They love it when Ashley comes over!

Chrstmas with Papa Joe and Grandma Gloria

We were lucky this year at Christmas to have 3 Christmases! One with each of the grandparents. Papa Joe and Grandma Gloria came for a visit from Arizona. We had a lot of fun spending time with them. The boys adore them! They played baseball together in the backyard and that made Andrew's year I think!

Ward Christmas party 2008

Our ward had this Marionette Christmas show. Honestly it was creeping me out! But the kids had fun watching it. Ethan insisted on wearing Zacks beanie, which is size 3-6 months! Zack has a tiny head so he could still wear it, but it looked hilarious on Ethan because he has the Boyes family big head! The boys were sitting next to Aiden and Tyler, my friends kids. They were cracking each other up.

Ethan with Crazy hair-December 2008

Ethan had just gotten out of the shower, and he needed a hair cut sooo badly, that I just started playing with it, and it spiked up so cute and funny looking I had to take some pictures. He is my shy guy, so this only could happen because no one else was around. He is pretty cute!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yes I know, my birthday was in December! But I received a gift certificate to get a pedicure from my wonderful Sister Val, and this was really the first chance to go and get it done. I love this color! To me it says summertime, beaches and it makes my feet look pretty. :) It was great being able to go and read almost half of my Oprah magazine. All in one sitting! Who knew you could get that much reading done with no kids around! Too bad its cold and gray outside, because that means my pretty toes will be hiding in socks and shoes. Thank you Val!

The Host

The Host cover Pictures, Images and Photos

I had a friend request that I write a small review about Stephenie Meyers, The Host. The first time I read it, it read kind of slowly. A lot slow actually. But the middle to the end was really good. I have read it 2 more times and I like it sooo much better! I actually wish it kept going after I was done reading it. The whole concept of a little "worm" taking over a human body and eventually race makes your mind kind of spin. I am not a huge sci-fi person, not at all, but I did really like this. I have decided that Stephenie is the sort of author that I will always like whatever she writes. So I recommend it, and Lacey if you want to read it, you can borrow mine. :)

I'm sorry!!

I apologize ahead of time. I had promised not mention Twilight anymore, but then I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic and there he was! My perfect Edward! The way he was in this movie he would make an awesome Edward. So here are 2 pictures of him. I tried to get a better one of him smiling, but this was the best I found. Anyway. I couldn't help it, I had to post him!

more posts soon! I promise!

So I feel like I have dropped off the planet when it comes to my blogging. I am going to blame it on two things! 1: my camera totally sucks and 2: my program for editing photos is giving me issues so I can't straighten my pictures out or crop them. Which is very annoying. But I am going to fix it somehow and get posting. I am so far behind!

Anyway, life around here is pretty much same as always. Andrew has been off track, which was nice for awhile, now I am ready for school to start. So is he! He realizes that staying at home isn't what its all cracked up to be and that he has way more fun at school. So Monday can't come soon enough! :)

We just got approved for a home loan and are going to start the process of buying a house. Which is exciting and scary all at the same time! Its a huge purchase and commitement. We wanted to try and move back to Arizona, but it just wasn't in the cards. So we are going to commit here to California. Wish us luck!

Family pictures!

Rachel took the cutest pictures of our family. I am finally posting them. I am so behind on everything. But I love these pictures and I hope you enjoy them. Andrew is 3 weeks away from his 6th birthday, Ethan turned 4 in October and Zachary is 17 months old. Thank you Rachel!

Halloween

So Halloween used to be such a fun filled holiday. I love Halloween. But since having kids its a nightmare! Sometimes they want to dress up, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they eat dinner before going trick or treating, but most of the time they don't and then get into a sugar induced hyperness that drives me insane! The 2 Halloween parties we went to ended in dragging (literally) Andrew kicking and screaming. Then all that yummy candy sitting in my house begging to be eaten. I decided this year to just let them have at it for one day and I threw it all out afterwards! I can't take the candy just sitting there, too tempting. Maybe next year will be a better year. :)

Downtown Disney

Mel and I took the kids to Downtown Disney in October and got these cute shots. I am so far behind in my blogging Its taking me awhile to catch up! Anyway. Just wanted to share!

YUMMY!!! Need I say more?

Zack future soccer star!

My kids are active, just like everyone elses, but Zack as this natural ability to master all things physical. He is only 17 months old and is trying to ride bikes, scooters(he got a 3 wheeled one for Christmas and he is trying to learn how to stand and move it with his foot!) and he loves to play ball. Andrew is a natural at playing baseball. He is so good at it. It seems Zack as a natural ability to kick a ball. He follows it around and gets it to where he wants to go. He amazes me with how fast he picks this stuff up. I know its probably because he has 2 older brothers and he doesn't want to be left behind, but it is still fun to watch.

Party Time!

I didn't really plan any activities at Ethan's party, other than the pinata and cake, and so the kids were kind of at a loss as to what to do. So I had just done this thing at preschool where they were playing with water and paint brushes and they "painted" the sidewalk/driveway. I know that is not a new concept, but even though it was cold the kids LOVED it! They painted until the entire bucket of water was empty. I recommend this to anyone who has bored kids on their hands. I also had cut up sponges in there. It works really well!Ethan had fun at his party and so did the adults I think. I did anyway. Thanks to everyone for the gifts for Ethan!

Present Time!!!!

Ethan's Preschool Birthday Bash :)

My poor friends, all I have been talking about is Twilight! I haven't even posted about Ethan's birthday which was TWO months ago! In my defense a lot has been going on, & I haven't taken very many pictures either.

Anyway, his birthday fell on a preschool day so we had cupcakes and sang to him. He had fun. Ethan is not one that loves attention. He prefers hanging out in the background absorbing everything. A lot of people think he is actually in his own little world, which he is sometimes, but he pays attention too. I can't believe he is 4 years old. Time has gone by so quickly and so many things have changed since then! He's a sweetie for sure though. He loves to cuddle with you anytime you give him a chance.

My Twilight Characters

Okay, I hope to be able to keep my promise of never mentioning Twilight again. But since I had such a strong reaction to the movie, I wanted to share my picks for some of the characters. I really liked Esme, Rosalie, Alice, Bella (even though her acting could be better), Jacob, and Emmett. I think they could have done with a better Carlisle and Edward, and for sure Jasper, but I haven't found him yet. At this point anyone could do better than that guy. I hope nobody knows him, cause I am not trying to be mean! Anyway, this is my choice for Carlisle:

Bradley Cooper Pictures, Images and Photos

I was watching the first season of Alias and he just would be PERFECT!

Okay now for Edward. Brian Hallisay is his name. He is on Privileged and I think he could do a great Edward. Although he doesn't look 17, which would be a problem. Anyway....

BRIAN HALLISAY Pictures, Images and Photos

Okay so thats all. They are really the only ones I had a problem with. Ok I'm done with Twilight. I will move on to my children! I love them way more anyway.

Update on Twilight

Okay so many of you have seen that I was very excited about the movie. Well I thought that because I had to do preschool, work until 10:30 that night and then stay up until 3 in the morning to watch the movie, was why I HATED it so much. But no, Jeff and I went again last night because I was told it was SO much better the second time. Wrong again. Well it was better, I didn't HATE it this time, but it was still ridiculous. I hope none of you went to see it and have not read the books, decide to skip the books altogether. Because the books are amazing. I love them and read them over and over. Anyway, that is my thought on the movie. James was pretty hot though, and so was Emmett. :)

thirty-six and a half more hours!

Okay so I am pathetically excited about Twilight, the movie! I am having a hard time sleeping I am so excited. I want the movie to be good, and I am afraid it's not going to live up to my expectations. Only time will tell, and there's not that much left! YAY! So to all that are going tomorrow to the midnight release have a blast, I know I am!

Santa Ana Zoo

I decided to take the boys to the Santa Ana Zoo the other day. It was fun, cheap & small. I am so spoiled by the San Diego zoo and even the Phoenix Zoo. Andrew kept asking to see the elephants. Well there aren't any. But the nice thing was that it was $12 total to get in, so it was relaxed and enjoyable, and much better than sitting in the house all day. If you like monkeys though, there are lots of monkeys to see. The boys also got to feed the goats, and play in the sand and make sand angels. We had a really good time together.
So I have been pretty lucky with my boys not trying to cut their own hair. That is until a couple of days ago when Andrew decided he would 'help' me cut his hair. See we were trying to grow it out so that he could have a big boy hair cut instead of the regular & easy shaving of his head. So his hair was driving me crazy and we were just about to cut it and he comes in to show me this:

I couldn't believe it! So I had to shave it. I used a #2 and it still was not short enough! I would have had to bic his head to get all the knicks out. Which I didn't do. So hopefully by the time school is back in session his hair will have grown out again and we can shave it nicer than it is right now.

When the cats away the mice will play

It never fails that while we are gone from the room, or in this case from home, the boys will get a hold of my camara and start taking the most random pictures. I deleted most of them, but this one was cute. Ethan is pretty quiet and laid back but sometimes he gets really goofy and this is one of those times.

Zack likes to climb, needless to say. He is always doing stuff like this. Sometimes it is on the kitchen drawer handles, or the oven door. Doesn't matter to him as long as it gets him somewhere. He also is very good at climbing up slides and other dangerous things for a kid his size.

What's up with your hair?

Jeff has this afro hair that he got for Halloween one year and I was cleaning out the garage and found it! The baby thought it was sooooo funny to put it on and he was just the biggest ham when we did! He would start to strut his stuff when he had it on and we would LAUGH so hard! Andrew and Ethan of course got their turn with it. All around it was pretty funny. Enjoy!

Conference this weekend was amazing. I really felt that all these talks were directed towards me. Especially Saturday. I took lots of notes, (which I have never done before) and I really hope to apply all the teachings our wonderful leaders felt inspired to share. Life has been hard lately. This economy has really affected my family. Jeff works in the house building industry so you can all understand why. So between starting up a new business, me doing preschool, and 3 crazy boys, Jeff and I hardly have time to spend together, alone. Toddler years are so much harder than you ever think that they will be. Off track months remind you of why you were very excited for your energetic 5 year old to go to school. I know that these days pass so fast, but there are times when it feels like I am standing still. So many things on the to-do list, but never enough energy. Why is all the energy given to kids? What about us moms? What do you guys do for energy to keep up with everything? How do you balance it out? I try to plan my day the night before so that I can keep up on a schedule, but that just doesn't work for me right now. Is it the 3rd kid? or is it just me? I have some of the greatest friends. They are true examples to me of what a mom and a wife and a friend should be. Even when the chips are down, we have so much to be thankful for. Its hard to remember that sometimes. Thanks for listening to my musing. Comment if you want! Thanks!

Another one

So Ethan has been on a roll lately with his funny little quips. Today we were getting in the car from Wal-mart and I had put all the grocery bags on top of him. So I was putting them into the car. Well I grabbed him to and swung him into the car and he says "Mommy, I not a bag I a big boy! I do it myself!" HA HA HA! So funny! Andrew didn't get why I was laughing, but it was really funny.

Kids say the darndest things

So yesterday Jeff came home from work and for one reason or another was walking around with no shirt on. (reminder of the early years...:)) Anyway, Ethan climbs onto his lap and says "Daddy thats your fat hole" Jeff was like "What?!" Anyone who knows Jeff knows that "fat" and "Jeff" just don't go together. So I realized he was talking about his BELLY BUTTON and I could not stop laughing! I have NO idea where he came up with that, but it was too cute not to share.

Picture Tag

PICTURE BLOG TAG

The rules are you have to take ten pictures of the following things. And you have to do it right away. No straightening, cleaning or wiping your child's nose.

1. The fridge

2. The Closet
Jeff has the closet in our room and I have overtaken the closet in Zacks room. We just have tiny tiny closets in this house.

3. Self Portrait

4.Your Favorite Room
For many reasons this is my favorite, but the most important one is that when I come in here, it means the kids are in bed and I can go to SLEEP!

5. The Kitchen Sink
Sorry, messy day at my house. I THOUGHT about doing them this morning, but ran out of time before school. If it were yesterday, it would have been clean!

6. The Laundry Room
ours is in the garage, so it is dark and dirty. :P

7. The toilet-Pee and everything! I didn't cheat at all!

8.What are your kids doing right now?

9.Your dream vacation.
Well I don't know how you guys got those pictures of your dream vacations. So I will just have to tell you that it is to travel through Europe. Particularly London.

10. Your Favorite Shoes

Walking

So I had no problem when Andrew started Kindergarten. I was excited for him, not really emotional at all. Totally fine. Well today I let him off at the corner and allowed him to walk across the street with the crossing guard and into the school. That was too much! I can't believe that my baby is big enough to even THINK about doing things like that! When did this happen? Where did the time go? He is so grown up in so many ways. I think I sometimes try to hold him back because I'm in denial about what he is capable of. But he is amazing. I love him so much! Pretty soon Ethan will be doing the same thing. Life flies by when you are having fun.

Labor Day

So for Labor Day we went to the beach. We got up early and left so that we could beat the crowds. No Luck! It was really busy by the time we got there at 9:30. It was also SO COLD! 68 degrees and drizzling! Sorry to my AZ friends who would love that weather! I would have been fine if I had been prepared. Anyway, it warmed up and it was a lot of fun. The waves were HUGE! I tried to catch one on camara, but it didn't work. Ethan was content to play in the sand, while Andrew is every bit Jeff's kid because he just wanted to be in the water. Which made us a little nervous because the waves were so big. But he had fun all the same. Zack wanted to run around in the sand, and we let him for a little while, but then we locked him up in the pack n play. He had fun though! Then Jeff buried the boys in the sand and they thought that was so cool. all in all it was a great time. We don't get a lot of time with Jeff so it was SO nice to have him all to ourselves for a few hours. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

NASCAR Fan Fest

For those of you who know us well, you know that we are NASCAR fans. I include myself in that statement now. I used to dread Sundays because I had to watch the "stupid" race. But now I enjoy watching it, and surprise myself with all that I know! Anyway the race was here in CA this past weekend and they had a fan fest beforehand that we went to. Richard Petty was there, who apparantly was racing when my Dad was in High school! Kasey Kahne was there, he is so good looking! and there were other drivers there too. We got a picture of Jeff Gordon's car (#24). We aren't huge fans of him, but he is a good race driver. Tony Stewarts car, of COURSE!(#20) and my all time favorite driver Carl Edwards (#99). It has nothing to do with his racing abilities, I will admit. It is because he is so very handsome. No worries, Jeff knows! He got me a Carl Edwards toy car and then had him sign it. You are probably thinking I am totally lame, but that's ok.

Arrowhead

We went on vacation to Arrowhead a couple weeks ago and it was a lot of fun! The weather was SO beautiful and the kids had so much fun getting dirty and playing in Lake Gregory. The coolest part was the squirrels! We went to this park and the squirrels came right up to you, literally, and begged for food. So we bought peanuts and fed them. I actually got to pet one! It didn't even flinch at all. (I scrubbed my hands with sanitizer I promise!) They were the funniest squirrels I have ever seen! They weren't even afraid of the kids. It was a lot of fun!

Midnight Sun

So, my friend Melonie texted me the other day with what I consider VERY bad news. Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Series, was writing Twilight from Edwards perspective and one of her friends decided that they would illegaly post her manuscript and Stephenie has since decided to STOP WRITING THE REST OF THE BOOK! I am so upset! It was going to be SO amazingly good and now we only get like half of it. So I'm very sad about this and thought I would share.

Which Disney Princess are you?

This was fun! You should try it!

You Are Aurora! (A.K.A. Sleeping Beauty.)

Thoughtful and loving. Authority figures probably have been sheltering you all of your life. Thankfully you're a very tranquil person who is content with what life has given you, but secretly you want to know how the outside world works.

Birthday party!

Zack doesn't even like cake! I swear, where did he come from?! I love cake!

Zachary's first birthday!

Zack doesn't like to eat food at all! He is like Ethan who only wanted a bottle! I am not sure what to do about that. But anyways, I am trying to be good and have him eat some yummy pancakes! I even made them in the #1 shape! But no go, he didn't want them. Oh well!
The boys love birthdays and were really excited for Zacks. Andrew thought that his birthday meant he was going to be little (aka baby) again and he didn't want that! HE wants Zack to be big so he can play with him. :)

Zachary

Zack loves this little poodle stuffed animal, and I went in to wake him up and he was so cute cuddling with it! I had to take a picture!
Zack also loves to climb into boxes. Any box will do! He will climb in and sit there like a king on his throne! It is so funny to watch him! He has a great personality!

MUD!!!!!

My boys are 100% boys and they love to make mud and then throw it at each other! Yes it makes a lovely mess! But they have a blast, so what can you do?

Our house

So here it is, FINALLY! Our house. You can tell from the pictures that we were still moving in and unpacking when they were taken. I am not normally a total slob! I really should have taken different pictures, but I don't want to.:) Sorry I guess I'm lazy. We love having a house. It is the best! They should be putting in a yard soon which will be nice. Because the next post will be pictures of what the boys do with the dirt!

First day of school, 4th of July etc

Sorry! It has been so long since I last published! Andrew has started Kindergarten at Lincoln and he loves it! The homework is crazy, and that is partly my excuse. Who knew that school, homework and 2 other kids could make life so crazy! :) And if that is not crazy enough, I am starting a preschool for Ethan! I am looking forward to it and I hope that the other kids will like me too! So I am going to post some pictures and see what I am forgetting about the past month! :)

Jeff took Andrew to his first day of school. The next day Andrew says to me, "Mommy, you're going to let me walk to school right? You'll stay in the car?" He has wanted to "walk" to school since preschool. I'm glad he's so independant. Thats a good thing right? There is also a picture of him doing his first homework assignment.
The boys were goofing around with each other before we went to the pancake breakfast at the church. Little did we know that the fireworks would scare Ethan so badly that he wouldn't sleep for days without having his hands over his ears. It was so sad! But he has passed that stage now.THank goodness!

A walk down Memory Lane

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! (Blog stalkers fell free to leave a comment too!)

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you!reminisce away...

Random

The first picture is of Zack eating his first candy bracelet. We were at Jeff's company picnic and he looks like a clown! I thought it was funny.
The next pictures are of when Jeff got promoted to ETL in ACN. He worked very hard to get there and we are very proud of him.
Then yesterday Zack was playing in the kitchen. It got very quiet and I go in to look at him and he has dumped an entire bag of cereal on the floor! He was so funny about it! he would lay on the floor and "swim" in it. It was a huge mess but so cute! He has also started walking which is really fun. I am going to try and capture it on video so that you guys can see it.

Mormon Night at Angels Stadium

So we went to Mormon night too in June! It was so fun sitting with all our friends! Even though our seats were so far away we basically paid to hang out with our friends because you could hardly see the game. The boys had fun, and Ethan got scared of the fireworks which is why he was sitting on my lap. Stephanie and her boyfriend Eric were there in front of us too.

So Andrew finished up preschool on June 13th. He LOVED it! I hope he loves Kindergarten just as much. He starts next week! Anyway they had a little party for all the kids going into Kindergarten and it was so much fun. His teacher was Mrs. Dalton and Mrs. Meier is the head person at the preschool. I really liked this school!

Updates

So it has been forever since I last posted! I'm sorry about that! I hate it when people don't post for a long time! But life gets in the way and here we are! :) So obviously we went to the beach in May with my great friend JoAnna! Her family came down from AZ and it was sooo much fun to see her! We used to hang out all the time when I lived there and I miss her so much! (I miss my other friends too!) Anyway, then the picture of Zack with the hair bow I am sure some of you will think is wrong, but he looked so cute! I wish I had a girl to play with their hair and dress them all up, but I have to settle with my boys hair! Jeff hates it when I do it, but its fun!
Zack loves, loves, LOVES to play in his bathtub! He thinks he is just so big when he climbs in and out all by himself.

Moving!

So we have found a really cute house to rent! YAY! We move the middle of June and I can't wait! The kids will have a backyard to play in and the baby will have his own room. I will post pictures when we move in. Our number will stay the same. email me for the address. I don't want the entire world to know where we live! :) Have a great day!

Fun with our Boys

So following Erin's lead, my friend Amber and I took the boys to Mr. Pennypickles museum. I honestly don't remember exactly what the name is :). But the boys had a great time. It was a little old for Ethan, just a little, but it was still fun. They especially loved the canon looking thing that blows air and keeps the ball in the air no matter where you put it. That was a lot of fun.

Chino Airplane museum

The boys love airplanes and so Jeff took them to see the airplanes at the Chino Airport. They had so much fun! As you can see. :) I was not there so I can't give details, but they did have fun.

On Fire for a Cure

So my friend Rachel was taking pictures for this charity and I took the boys over. We have not had pictures taken of all of them yet. So here they are. They are kind of crummy looking because I had to scan them in. But they look great in real life. :)
These boys keep me moving all the time and sometimes they outlast my energy level! BUT they are the best things that have ever happened to me. I can't believe that my Andrew is 5 years old. He has grown up so much in the past few months. Ethan is so funny. So is Zack. My boys have the sweetest personalities. I hope all you Mothers had a GREAT Mothers day!

Andrew's ACN Commercial :)

video

So Jeff is working for ACN. And he says this all the time, so he taught Andrew to say it. I got it on video and I thought it was so funny. So I hope you enjoy and if you have any questions let me know.

oh my gosh its April!

So today is April 1st. I can't believe it! My last post was a little pathetic, sorry! But I do miss Arizona.

I found out yesterday that JoAnna and her family are coming to visit in May and I cannot be more excited. For those of you in AZ who want to visit, my apartment complex has this great guest apartment for $50 for 5 nights!!! Only $10 a day! and we are close to Disneyland and the beach or the mountains, wherever you want to go. We would love to have you visit, we just need advance notice! So please come. We can show you a fun time. :)

Zack is 8 months old this week. He has been crawling for a month or so now and has taken steps towards walking! I cannot believe it! He is just too little to be doing this stuff already.

We had a fun Easter this year. The boys are finally big enough that I am not nervous about them coloring eggs. So we did that again this year. And the egg hunt was so much more fun too because they are big enough to do it on their own. They get more and more fun everyday.

Wish I were There

In Maricopa! I love being close to my family and friends that live here in California. It is beautiful here, but I miss Arizona. The slower pace, the cheaper gas, the cheaper housing, and may I just say my wonderful friends! We have been living in a 900 square foot apartment for the price of a 5 bedroom house back in Arizona! Jeff just doesn't have a job there, and I have to be happy here, and try to figure out a way to get my family into a house with a yard. Preferably not in the ghetto. :) I am feeling very nostalgic today I guess. I am very grateful that we did move back to CA. I needed to be here for my mom. But now I am ready for a change. Thanks for letting me vent.

Pictures

We drove by discount tires and they had this race car there! The boys were so excited.

I have such handsome boys. Zack is 7 months now. He crawls, and climbs, pulls up to a stand.

When we go to get water the boys love riding in the bottom of the cart as Jeffbrings it to the car.

Zack was so funny. I pulled out the camara and he just started laughing and showing off.

Wedding Picture Tag!

I was tagged to post my wedding pictures. This proved a little difficult since they were taken before the ease of digital camaras! I had to pull my album out and scan them in! We have become so spoiled! :) We were married in the Los Angeles Temple August 7th 1999.

These are my sisters in law and my sister.

This was the whole family who were there to celebrate with us.
Here Jeff and I are dancing. Love the bubbles! :)

I tag- Betheny and Shelly

Andrew is Five!!

This is Andrew and Zack on Andrews birthday. Andrew is 5 and Zack is 6 months.

This is Andrew and Ethan with their friend Seth at Castle Park. I took the boys miniature golfing for Andrews birthday. Jeff was going to come but he got stuck on the side of the freeway in a broken car. :(

This picture of Zack reminds me of my brother Chris.

Ethan with his ear muffs on ready to go to the Nascar race! Yes I did say Nascar, we are fans in this house!

My boys are growing up too fast! But they are lots of fun! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Have a great Valentines Day!

Oils

I knew that this would be hard for me to keep up dated. :) But that is okay. Tomorrow is Andrew's 5th birthday. I can't beleive it! Zack is 6 months old today too. Time flies when you are having fun!
So I am finally learning about essential oils. There is so much to know! Luckily I have Melonie around to teach me. I am going to be having a party for her, and I hope that all of you in California will be able to come!
Well I will post pics of the birthday boy tomorrow!

Poem about President Hinckley

I didn't write this, it was sent to me and I really liked it

**Prophetic Passing***
I imagine he's running to Marjorie now,
Yes, running, not waving his cane.
I see him embracing his father and mother
While they keep repeating his name.
I see him now meeting his forebears,
Brother Brigham and Joseph are there.
Sweet reunion of prophets, united by service
That only such noble men share.
I see him embraced by the Savior While Father says,
'Good and well done.So faithful in stalwart endurance,
I welcomeMy noble, most excellent son.'
I then hear the ripples of laughter
As he says the reception's just fine,
But he hopes that he'll get an assignment or two
Since there's no need to waste any time.
I can hear his clear voice in the stillness
At the close of this sweet Sabbath day,
Have faith and move forward?
There's work to be done.
President Hinckley would want it that way.

New Car

Well, since I don't have a camara (we've been using Jeff's work one and he took it back to work) I can't show you my new car. Well new to me. :) It is a 2004 Nissan Quest SE and I love it! The kids can't even touch each other anymore! YAY! It also can fit both strollers and a bike and 2 scooters, so we are all set to go to the park. It has power everything and because of Steve we got a great deal on it.
And can I say one thing, just as advice, get GAP insurance. If you don't have it and you owe money on your car, get it! It can save you a ton! We didn't have it, and we will never make that mistake again. anyway that's all. :)

Car Crash

So I've never been in an accident before. Quite amazing actually. But just after New Years we get a knock at our door at like 12:30-1am. We don't live in the best neighborhood so I was a little nervous answering it. (plus I was half asleep). Anyway some idiot drunk driver hit my pretty car! Technically he hit 3 cars and smashed part of the car port. Totalled my car. :( At least no one was in the car. But I thought I would share with you my sad tale and pictures. But the good news is that I got to get a bigger car! YAY!

I'm giving it a try!

So I love to read everybody's blogs, and Betheny and Violet talked me into doing one of my own. So here it goes. I hope that what I have to say will be interesting! My days are spent taking care of my 3 beautiful boys. Andrew is going to be 5 in 2 weeks! He just started preschool, thanks to Papa, and in July he starts school at Lincoln! It is so funny that my kid is going to the same elementary school that I went to! He is very active and loves to be outside. Ethan is 3 and he is hilarious! He is very laid back and just rolls with the punches. He is potty training himself now. I told him he had to go potty on the potty to go to preschool, and so he is taking care of it all on his own! It is great! Zack, or Zachary, is almost 6 months old now. He is already on the move. Not quite crawling, but a combo of rolling and scooting on his head! He is very mellow, but gets bored easily. So as long as there are people around he is a happy camper! Jeff is still with Milgard-which is great! He also has 2 businesses that he works on the side. So Cal Coatings and ACN. So if you need cell phones or want new local or long distance, give us a call! :)
